With 11 colleges and schools covering subjects from the humanities to math, science and technology to education and health, ETSU provides extensive opportunities for learning and growth. Within these colleges and schools, there are departments offering 125 undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degree programs, as well as honors experiences available to a broad spectrum of students in all fields of study. ETSU strives to keep tuition costs balanced and affordable, with the hope of lowering the costs of higher education through federal, state, and institutional financial aid. This means you’ll be getting a great education without mounds of student debt. In 2012-2013, the total cost of in-state tuition for a full-time undergraduate student, living on campus (including books) was roughly $14,681. For commuters, the total cost equaled roughly $8,227. If you qualify for the $4,000 Tennessee Lottery Scholarship, ETSU’s tuition becomes even more affordable.

ETSU aims to make the admissions process a little easier on you with our rolling deadline. While there is no firm admission application deadline, it is encouraged that freshmen students apply by February for enrollment in the fall semester of the following year.
Be aware, there are firm deadlines for scholarships and financial aid, so be sure to check the dates and get your information in on time.

If you're an athlete, you know firsthand how great it feels to win. It might interest you to know that the ETSU Buccaneers have won conference titles in 14 of their 17 sports over the last six seasons. We have winning teams in NCAA Division I sports from Baseball to Golf. Not only that, but ETSU recently announced the addition of a new football team, with a projected first season in the fall of 2015. Our athletics programs are growing in both size and relevance. If you want to play on a winning team, you need not look much further than ETSU. We have plenty of winning teams waiting for you.
